so today i threw out the first pitch at wrigley field. this was basically a childhood dream of mine made possible by my amazing friends beth heller and grant deporter at harry caray’s restaurant, the chicago cubs, and kerry and sarah wood who run the wood family foundation. i was nervous as hell but managed to throw a strike from the mound. jaye chapman was even nice enough to compliment me on my pitch. hey epstein, i’ll keep an eye on my fax machine for that contract to come in…
